Cyclone Aila stuck the coast of India in the state of West Bengal on 25th of May 2009-Monday leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Crashing with astounding wind speeds into the heart of Sunderbans, Cyclone Aila has caused widespread damages and loss of life and money.
I have been in the field from the 22nd of June 2009, we have been helping people in the cyclone ravaged areas with shelter needs, non-food items and hygiene kits. Being associated with a leading humanitarian organization, I have been fortunate to be a part of a mission that creates an opportunity for people to come back into the main stream of life.
